in the clouds
Here's a photo I took recently. The clouds were really intense, they seem to echo the shapes in this bowling alley. The tops of the cars add another layer to the cloudlike feel, I think. I'm quite happy with this particular shot...

April snow
The spring has been like a roller coaster, with really warm days followed immediately by freezing cold days. Sun then snow... I think we're finally past snow in Chicago. This is a photo taken by my sister Karen in Seattle. April snow.

rising concrete
Here's a shot of Chicago's Trump Tower that's nearing completion. The dark shadow in the center is the reflection of the IBM Building which sits directly across the street. The yellow speck is a batch of concrete being lifted to the top.
