WTF

OOOOOkay, here's a self portrait of Gene Ween looking like a zombie pirate from hell. He's walking the fine line between being a madman and a genius, as usual.

You can see more of his photos on his flickr site, but most of them aren't this wild. In fact there's some really artistic shots including some great behind-the-scene Ween pics from their latest tour. Check em out here.

Made with ArtRage 2.5 and a Wacom pen on a Mac Mini... a great combination.
Too fun.

Streamline

My latest painting, named Streamline, is acrylic and oil on canvas. It has a light layer of irridescent blue gloss that makes it almost impossible to photograph. But it looks great in person, trust me :P

Color Patchwork

No, it's not another fractal image or abstract painting. This is a photo of the Sao Simao Reservoir in Brazil, taken from the International Space Station.

Less Tacky Fractals

Somewhere along the line fractals got lumped in with potheads, tie dye and the Grateful Dead, but some of these entries to the 2007 Benoit Mandelbrot Fractal Art Contest are unique and aesthetically pleasing.

These are nice:

Past Present Future by Joseph Priestly

Coolest Thing I've Seen All Year

These nano-explosions are like little bite-sized mushroom clouds.
