This is a bowling alley on Waveland Avenue in Chicago. What I like the most about this photo is the overall tone of the colors and the interplay of the shadows. And when you look at the stripes on top, it's not immediately apparent which way the building is folding, in or out, even after looking at the blue doors indented in the wall.

This is an older photo but one of my all-timey favorites. It's part of a giant vegetable root of some sort, possibly a turnip, taken at the Alaska State Fair last year. Just thought it would make a fine companion to the odd pod.

This is a photo I took of Chicago's Millennium Park overlooking the Pritzker Pavillion and Cloudgate sculpture. I utilized a fake (Photoshopped) tilt-shift technique to make it look like a little world. I dunno if this is technically one of my best ones but I like the green scene. A brave warrior, this little shiny green bug was trying to attack my camera lens, waving his tiny arms menacingly. One of the tough things about macro photography is that you can only get a small part of the image in focus, I got his antennae to come out clear but that's about it.
