Take it Easy is an outtake from The Mollusk. Dean Ween posted this on Ween's website a few weeks ago as part of 'The Mollusk Sessions' — all the original demos from when they were writing songs for the album. It's gone now but I nabbed it in time, lucky me!
Little Miss Mandee is a cool and creepy song about a cat.
The Argus, Part 2 is a song that didn't quite make it to the Quebec album. Not sure why... it's awesome. Maybe it will show up on their next Shinola album… meantime, enjoy this demo. This one actually didn't have a name and I can't remember where I found it. It was just labelled "The Argus – Not the one on the album - totally different song.mp3" or something.

Damn, man, this is awesome. All 3 songs are great and yeah, it's surprising they shelved 'em. FYI, the Mandee cat song is most likely about Gene & Dean's cat Mandee, mentioned in the liner notes (or back cover of the vinyl record) of The Pod. Thanks for putting these songs up; I missed 'em 1st time around and they were a real pleasure to discover.
