at first i thought it was a transit route but the others are to squiggly...

and yes, there was a kottke in our class...david pg. 151 and that is all, i knew it was fermiller

Wow, that's totally a map of the Metra lines around chicago. I lived in chicago for 12 years and now live in San Francisco. It's amazing how well those images are etched in my memory. I bet if I tried hard enough, I could put the right colors to them. I remember the fox lake line was always orange.

I too looked at it and immediately thought chicago. never lived there but visit it quite often. Seems several people on here have the distinct pattern etched in their mind enough to guess correctly!
