They do constantly challenge each other, I guess to determine superiority? But if one strays too far from the cage, the other two cheep at her 'til she flies back. so they aren't mortal enemies I guess! 3 females.
In Australia, where these birds are from, they are known as budgies which is short for budgerigars. I used to breed them and they make great little pets. The white one is actually called a pied budgie because of the mottled colouring of the blue and white...one of my favorites also. An even nicer bird to have is the Rainbow Lorikeet, very smart and easy to train, messier poo-wise though. Sadly I was allergic to mine and had to sell it, it broke my heart.

Looks like a mini confrontation between parakeets. I used to have two of them, but they never fought.
