It's an Island.
Specifically, Oeno Island.

At first (very quick) glance I thought it was a slightly skewed picture of some planet. I would never have guessed.

I think I watch too many documentaries on the ocean. I knew it was an island with a reef around it, but was trying to guess which. Thanks for the very specific answer.

It appears to be an atoll. This is made obvious by the thin coastline and an open spot on the top where water has come in to fill the middle. The second island in the middle left is unusual, though...
