Voice Candy

Voice Candy is an incredibly simple voice recorder that automatically records and changes your voice to one of nine preset effects, from Chipmunk to Darth Vader, or just normal. You can change effects in the middle of recording, so you can simulate a conversation. Pretty amusing. You can set it to automatically save the recording to iTunes, or record a message that will play back at a specified time. And it has one of the best icons I've seen in a while too!
There is one downside. You can only save out the files in .mpg format, which you can't save to your iPod. Well, maybe a Video iPod. (Update! Howard pointed out that you can convert the file to .mp3 from iTunes.)
A trial download is available at Potion Factory.

Yes, but once the file is in iTunes, you can convert it to AAC or MP3 so you can put it in your iPod. Problem solved!
Howard, I did try that. ITunes doesn't give a warning or anything, and when you get info, it still shows up as a .mpg. I think maybe iTunes sees it as a movie file, and thinks it can't convert it?
That's bizarre because I just did it and sent it as an AAC to a friend of mine who is a Vader "Who's your daddy?" joke freak. The new file has a .m4a extension. Do you have Quicktime Pro? that's the only thing I can think of since iTunes uses Quicktime as its engine.
I also just noticed that Voice Candy exported my file as a .mov. I just sent you the file I created and the one I converted.
Oops, actually, I was wrong! It WAS converting the files to mp3, it was just adding them in as a new file, and not deleting the .mpg file.
I've updated the post.
