Apparently just touching this plant can cause severe injuries. No Idea what kind of plant it is or where to get one though. Damn you random Google image search!
Not at all closely related to the radish - not even the same phylum (it's a gymnosperm, not an angiosperm).
The injury would be to the plant, not to the person touching it. These are exceedingly difficult to cultivate. They only grow in the wild in the Namib Desert in western Africa.

I don't know why the picture would say it's dangerous... Nothing I can find on it implies that it is.
